Corriemar House

Built in 1897, Corriemar House is a beautiful Victorian home, perfectly situated on the Oban seafront Promenade. It has the most magnificent views of the bay towards the Isle of Mull, and the Inner Hebrides. Oban sits on the west coast of Scotland, with a proud history of fishing and sea faring, and is well known as the gateway to the Isles. There are regular ferries departing from Oban to Colonsay, South Uist, Barra, Lismore, Tiree, Coll, and Mull.

Corriemar House has fourteen lovely bedrooms, all lovingly decorated, and all with en-suite facilities. One of the bedrooms also has it's own sitting room. Infact Corrimar House has been awarded four stars by the Scottish Tourist Board, and four diamonds by the AA. It is a truly magnificent Oban bed and breakfast, furnished to the highest standard, with Italian wallpaper, American beds, and furnishings from Europe and the Far East.

The deluxe rooms at the Corrimar all have either king size beds, or king size four poster beds, and most have stunning panoramic views over the bay towards Mull. All the bedrooms at Corriemar House have en-suite, TV with Freeview, a DVD player, a hairdryer, and refreshments.

At Corriemar House breakfast is hearty, and sets you up for an exciting day of adventure. Choose from a selection of; fruit juices, Grapefruit segments, prunes, fruit yoghurt, cereals, fresh and dried fruit, a fine Scottish breakfast, Kippers, Jocks' Favourite-haggis, the Poachers Special-Stornaway black pudding, piquant fish cakes, or a continental breakfast, all served with coffee or tea and toast.

Breakfast is served in the large and airy dining room, and guests may also enjoy the conservatory and sitting room. You may also like to enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee and the fine panoramic vistas from the patio.
