| The Old Manse has superb panoramic views of Oban Bay, and the isles of Mull and Kerrera. Set within its own peaceful garden, and just a short and comfortable stroll from the town centre, it's a great base from which to enjoy the stunning scenery of the coastline, the local distilleries, and do a bit of bird and wildlife spotting. You can also get your holiday off to a great start as private, off road parking is available for all guests. |
| There are five beautifully appointed guest bedrooms to choose from, all with en-suite facilities, flatscreen freeview TV's and CD players, and a complimentary selection of hot beverages and shortbread. All rooms have lots of little extra touches such as celtic CDs, Scottish poetry books and even a complimentary decanter of sherry. If you are short of inspiration on what to do you will find free information sheets in the porch with ideas for walks and drives in the local area no matter what the weather. Wi-Fi connection is also available in public areas if you need to catch up on your emails. |
| Families and small adult groups are ideally catered for in The Old Manse too, as a great multiple-occupancy suite is available consisting of a double room with its own en-suite, and an adjoining twin room. All rooms are of a good size with three offering Kingsize beds. For those who prefer not to use the stairs there is a ground floor room with a sleigh bed and wood panelled ensuite bathroom with bath and shower. |
| Breakfast is served in the sunny dining room, where guests can enjoy a mouth-watering, freshly cooked Scottish breakfast, such as the popular Argyll haddock scramble, pancakes and porridge. Weekly changing 'breakfast specials' are available according to the season and guests with special dietary requirements are happily catered for with advance notice. If you fancy an evening in after a long days sightseeing tasty home cooked suppers are also available to pre-order; from homemade soups to bangers or haggis and mash. |
